Our Electrozad divison is looking for a truck driver based in the Sarnia area.
Purpose:
Reporting to the Wharehouse Supervisor, the driver will deliver products with supporting documentation to customers within the local area, ensuring that products are safely transported and that the shipping documents are properly signed by cusotmers or their agent. Also ensures that all Federal and Provincial Highway Traffic Laws are followed.
Reporting to the Wharehouse Supervisor, the driver will deliver products with supporting documentation to customers within the local area, ensuring that products are safely transported and that the shipping documents are properly signed by cusotmers or their agent. The driver will check orders to ensure they are correct, maintains a neat work area inlcuding Company trucks to ensure a safe work enviroment. Also maintains blanket orders to ensure proper inventory levels are met for vendor managed inventory.
Reports any work hazards, including any vehivle issues to the warehouse supervisor according to the quality assurance program.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Attention to detail
- Ability to regularly lift over fifty pounds
- 5 years clean driving record
