Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of products while also assisting with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. This position requires a commitment to safety and efficiency in both delivery and warehouse tasks.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Assist in loading and unloading products from trucks, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment in the warehouse.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve efficiency in warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus; certification may be required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Must obtain a criminal record check.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining inventory accuracy.
