Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team -Kalyvia restaurant. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, cleaning and resetting tables, restocking supplies and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders while providing menu recommendations.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully.
- Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction and address any needs or concerns.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables and cleaning spills.
- Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines during food handling and preparation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
- Assist with bartending duties as needed, including mixing drinks and serving cocktails.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and restaurant operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
