About Techblazers
Techblazers, originally known as RoboEDU, has been established since 2014 and has been around for ten years. It is the pioneer and leader in Canadian science and technology education, and the only institution in Canada that provides technology education across the east and west coasts. Over the past few years, we have served over 3000 students, mainly targeting students aged 4-18.
Our school offers a diverse and comprehensive range of educational courses, including robotics technology, programming, 3D design, artificial intelligence, and special courses to prepare students for various competitions and real-world challenges.
We also offer school planning services, especially for students who intend to apply to American universities, including optimizing academic performance and participating in activities beneficial to university applications.

This role plays a crucial role in managing administrative tasks and ensuring our center runs smoothly, with a particular emphasis on sales and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of students in robotics competitions, ensuring they understand the rules and strategies.
- Develop a comprehensive training plan for the team to build, program, and operate robots for competitions.
- Assist students in troubleshooting and refining their robots as needed.
- Foster a team environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and critical thinking.
- Liaise with competition organizers, ensuring the team is registered and prepared for all events.
- Keep up to date with the latest robotics technologies and competition trends, adapting the team's strategies as necessary.
- Research and develop new course material when required, ensuring proper documentation is maintained throughout the process.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience with VEX IQ competition
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring teams for robotics competitions such as FLL, VEX IQ, VEX, or FRC. A minimum of 2 years' experience with VEX IQ, VEX, or FRC is essential.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- A passion for teaching, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate children to learn, explore, and innovate in a classroom environment.
- Prior experience in Robotics Design and Software Development would be advantageous.

- The qualified teacher will have the opportunity to serve as a tutor for the robotics club at a top private school, as well as participate in course design for the private school. The schools are located in Toronto and York Region area.
Location: Richmond Hill, Toronto
This job type includes Fulltime, and Parttime. The salary ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour. The schedule for this role is every weekend, and the work will be conducted in person. The fulltime person also needs to prepare the course curriculum and contribute on membership activity.
