Lorvale Learning Centre is a private learning center based in Toronto. We provide Math Competition programs to students aged 6-18. We are looking for part-time or full-time coaches:
Main responsibilities
- Creating and executing interesting and engaging lesson plans
- Training students for different levels of math competitions
- Organizing math competitions
- Being a positive model
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year math competition & coaching experience
- Previous teaching experience is essential
- Familiar with AMC and math competitions of the University of Waterloo
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Team player and willingness to take part in extra-curricular activities
- Dependable, organized, punctual, patient and passionate about helping students achieve full potential
- Ability to create customized learning plans to meet individual learning goals
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening or willingness to obtain one
- Eligible to legally work in Canada
