Dand Veterinary Clinics are seeking a confident and experienced Veterinary Technician Assistant who thrives in a team-first environment and is passionate about supporting the broader mission of veterinary care across multiple locations.
Our tight group of clinics are privately, locally owned and operated and are located in Airdrie and Calgary, Alberta. Our locations include - Westmount Animal Clinic, West Springs Veterinary Hospital, Thrive Vet Care and Springbank Pet Hospital.
As a Floating Vet Tech Assistant, you'll play a crucial role across our network—stepping in where you're needed most to help ensure seamless care for our patients and clients. You’ll not only assist with medical duties but also lend a hand at the front desk, helping our reception team with client interactions and administrative support. This role is perfect for someone who is adaptable, proactive, and motivated by the idea of serving the greater good of our clinics and community.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Industry experience in a veterinary assistant or technician support role (required)
- Confidence in your skills and judgment while remaining open to learning
- A team-focused attitude and desire to support all departments—clinical and reception
- Willingness and ability to float between multiple Dand Veterinary Clinic locations as needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A sense of purpose in helping pets and their people receive the best care possible
