Veterinary Clinic Assistant (Large Animal) – Green Mobile Veterinary Services
Green Mobile Veterinary Services is looking for a Veterinary Clinic Assistant (Large Animal) to join our team! This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations for our large animal practice, with a strong focus on setup, equipment care, and facility maintenance.
About the Role:
As a Veterinary Clinic Assistant, you’ll play a key role in preparing for large animal appointments, maintaining and cleaning equipment, and safely restraining animals when needed. You’ll also be responsible for cleaning and restocking our Large Animal Treatment Facility and Field-Call Truck, to keep things running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up for large animal appointments, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready.
- Maintain, clean, and sanitize veterinary equipment and treatment areas.
- Assist with animal handling and safe restraint during examinations and procedures.
- Restock supplies in the Large Animal Treatment Facility and Field-Call Truck.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, both in the clinic and on farm visits.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with large animals (farm, ranch, or veterinary setting essential).
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and confidently.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on cleanliness and organization.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.50-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
