- Schedule, assign, and track drivers and vehicles for delivery or pickup routes.
- Monitor driver locations, trip progress, and delivery timelines using GPS and dispatch software.
- Communicate with drivers to provide route information, updates, and instructions.
- Resolve issues related to delays, equipment failures, or traffic incidents.
- Coordinate with customers regarding delivery times, ETAs, and service updates.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, delivery confirmations, and trip logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, HOS (Hours of Service), and company policies.
- Prepare and submit required documentation such as load sheets, trip reports, and fuel usage.
- Collaborate with maintenance and safety teams to ensure vehicle readiness and regulatory compliance.
