Summary
We are seeking a Transportation Dispatcher to join our dynamic team at BDR International. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating freight movements, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and clients. Your contributions will be vital to our mission of providing exceptional logistics services across North America.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule freight deliveries to ensure timely transportation.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage logistics.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends and improve efficiency.
- Assist in resolving any issues that arise during transit or scheduling.
Requirements
- Experience in transportation management or logistics is preferred.
- Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly.
