Job Information
The Training and Occupational Health and Safety Specialist develops, implements, manages, and tracks all possible aspects of position-specific training programs, including mandatory training, required by Environment and Climate Change (ECC) employees to carry out their responsibilities fully and effectively. You will be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of a department-wide Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) program.
You will support the efforts of senior management in two areas: to ensure the ECC staff have the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge required to fulfill the department's mandate, and to support a healthy and safe workplace.
To be considered for this role you must have the completion of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, five (5) years of experience in program development, project management, and leadership including two (2) years of supervisory experience.
