We’re hiring a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB on a 5x2 shift to start then will transition into 7x7 once training is completed. This role offers a competitive salary of $80,000–$100,000 annually, plus regional allowances, and is a great opportunity to build your experience while supporting a team that puts safety first. What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll support a proactive safety culture across our operations through education, coaching, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with our crews to help ensure everyone goes home safe.
- Partner with employees and supervisors to identify and address safety and environmental concerns
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and support monthly safety meetings
- Deliver and improve safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and workshops
- Promote continuous learning around health, safety, and the environment
- Provide hands-on coaching to enhance safety awareness and culture
What You Bring
- Diploma or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a health and safety related role
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Clear communication and strong organizational skills
- Experience coaching others and delivering training
- A proactive mindset and attention to detail
