Summary
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Controller to join our team in Salmon Arm. In this vital role, you will ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic around our work sites, contributing directly to the success of our projects and the safety of our crew.
As a Double Barrel employee your role may not be limited to just doing traffic control and may include working as a laborer on sites and around the yard.
Responsibilities
- Manage traffic flow around construction sites to ensure safety for workers and the public.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones and signs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and drivers to facilitate smooth operations.
- Monitor site conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed.
- Report any incidents or hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with other site duties as required.
- Provide assistance to operators and mechanics
- Wash equipment
- Qualifications
- Valid Traffic Control Persons Certificate
- Proven experience as a Traffic Controller or similar role in construction environments.
- Strong understanding of traffic control regulations and safety practices.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is an asset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
