Thermal Spray Technician/HVOF to perform the full range of thermal spray operations while insuring quality of work performed meets customer expectations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Pull tooling and materials required for thermal spray application.
- Perform the setup of equipment, tooling and materials for each project.
- Set the parameters to operate the thermal spray equipment and enter basic instructions to the robotic equipment.
- Apply thermal spray coating to the full range of new and refurbished parts.
· Demonstrate problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards throughout department and work facility.
· Capable of troubleshooting problems with equipment / challenging setups.
· Must be able to work safely and productively with minimal supervision.
· Knowledge and experience of precision measurement equipment (micrometers, calipers etc.)
· Must be able to consistently produce a high quality end product.
· Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications.
