Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products according to specifications. This role requires proficiency in operating various tools and equipment, as well as a strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Operate press brake machine to bend, shape, and form metal pieces
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Weld or join metal pieces together using various welding techniques
- Perform basic math calculations to measure and mark dimensions on metal materials
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Proficiency in operating press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, and welding machines
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy materials or standing for long periods of time
