Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Architect who will play a pivotal role in transforming our data capabilities within Wipro Technologies-Canada. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in establishing and leading a Center of Excellence (COE) focused on Power BI. With a proven track record in designing, implementing, and optimizing Power BI solutions, you will be responsible for developing best practices that enhance our analytical strategies and drive value across the organization. You will lead initiatives that aim to empower teams by providing them with the tools and insights necessary to make informed decisions. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive Power BI solutions tailored to fulfill diverse business requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Establish and lead a Center of Excellence for Power BI, providing mentorship, support, and best practices that empower the analytics team and enhance the overall data culture.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs; translate these needs into effective, scalable Power BI solutions that deliver actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data models, engaging reports, and intuitive dashboards using Power BI to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Optimize Power BI performance by leveraging advanced features and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay informed about the latest Power BI features and capabilities, assessing their potential impact on the organization’s overall analytics strategy and advocating for innovative enhancements.
In this role, you will also be responsible for influencing organizational practices and behaviors concerning data governance and privacy standards, ensuring that all Power BI implementations adhere to compliance requirements.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Power BI Architect, showcasing a strong understanding of data visualization, analytics techniques, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated track record of establishing and leading a Center of Excellence for Power BI, contributing to the development of a high-performing analytics team.
- Deep knowledge of Power BI features, including expertise in DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and Power BI administration.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, with experience in integrating Power BI with various data sources such as SQL databases, Azure services, and cloud platforms.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.
- Adept at working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Hold relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power BI.
You should bring a passion for data analytics and a commitment to fostering a data-driven culture within the organization, as well as strong analytical skills that demonstrate your ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
