DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs ECG Tests which includes explaining procedures to patients and executing all aspects of the ECG test.
- Completes documentation of ECG study, including details of the study and observations of the state of the patient.
- Completes ECG requisitions and editing.
- Ensures that all laboratory supplies are stocked and equipment is well maintained.
- Maintains statistics on volume of patients seen.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registration with CTAO and/or CSCT required.
- Successful completion of a recognized Cardiology Technician Program.
- Experience in performing GXT's, editing, holter set up, and scanning preferred.
- Must be able to work independently and prioritize work in a fast pace environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Must have an excellent attendance record.
- Excellent customer service record with proven success working as part of a team.
