We are now preparing for our upcoming commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play an instrumental role in our upcoming commercial launch for the Globe® PF System. In this role, you will provide remote in-procedure technical support for EP systems to our field clinical team and provide troubleshooting support to the field service team.
Please note that this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
Meaningful work you will be a part of
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Act as a primary point of contact for our field clinical team in addressing in-procedure issues.
- Provide expert technical support to our field teams on the Globe® PF System with a sense of urgency and positive action.
- Maintain up-to-date, SME level, technical knowledge on all aspects of the Globe® PF System.
- Assist in the design and refinement of our technical support structures in line with our overall global support strategy.
- Facilitate smooth commercial launch of new products and practices by engaging with designers early in the process and becoming the primary expert for knowledge transfer to field teams.
- Maintain a troubleshooting knowledge base, ensuring it is up to date and accurate.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or scientific field of study or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a technician, field service, or customer support role in the healthcare industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful independent support of EP mapping procedures.
- Strong communicator with active listening skills and questioning techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrable initiative and ability to contributes to process improvement.
Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.
As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.
- $99,000 – $124,000 (CAD Annually)
Total cash – the total cash we’ve listed for this position includes a base salary, plus a contribution to a Registered Retirement Savings plans (RRSP) to help support your financial goals.
