Lorik Tool and Automation is a custom automation builder and integrator located in Brantford, Ontario. We have been working with our customers for over 35 years to design, build, and install various innovative pieces of equipment for the Automotive, Pharmaceutical & Consumer industries.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Mechanical and Electrical design teams as well as Project Managers in all project-related tasks from concept design, manufacturing, commissioning, installation, and support
- Generate Bill of Materials for purchased components and manufactured materials based on designs
- Work with purchasers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and accurate lead times
- Assist in the build and assembly of tools, fixtures, and robotic automated equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and on time
- Work on multiple projects at one time
- Occasional travel for installations and upgrades as required
- Valid passport and driver’s license
Qualifications:·
- Post-secondary education in an Engineering-related field or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiar with manufacturing design drawings
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
- Strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong Mechanical and/or Automation Controls aptitude
- Experience in manufacturing environment of Automation equipment is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
