The Role
Accurate Network Services Inc. is on the hunt for a Technical Analyst - Licensing ( internally we call this a Licensing Advisor) to join our team in our Calgary office. The person we envision for this role has impeccable attention to detail, loves collaborating across several teams but is also comfortable working independently.
The Accountabilities

CSP Portfolio Management
Manage Accurate’s CSP portfolio (including Azure, Microsoft 365, and legacy subscriptions). Process orders, track licensing usage, and conduct regular audits to ensure billing accuracy.
Licensing Sales Management
Own and manage the inbound licensing sales queue. Respond promptly, provide guidance, and ensure all requests are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
Proactive Licensing Optimization
Actively monitor client environments to identify opportunities for licensing upgrades, renewals, and compliance improvements. Partner with Account Managers and Centralized Services to present and implement recommendations.
Product Knowledge & Consultation
Maintain deep product expertise in licensing programs and offerings. Keep pricing and item descriptions current. Stay up to date with vendor changes and share knowledge across teams.
Vendor Relationship & Program Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key licensing vendors. Ensure Accurate benefits from the best pricing, programs, and certifications available.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Procurement, Account Management, Service Desk, and Technical Account Managers to ensure licensing decisions support operational needs and client outcomes.
- Sales Enablement & Support
Equip internal teams with licensing knowledge and assist with onboarding or transitioning clients to new platforms or vendors.
The Qualifications
We're looking for a Licensing Advisor with the following qualifications and traits. If you have most but not all, we still encourage you to apply!
- A minimum 1 year experience working in a Managed Service Provider environment, ideally in a similar role.
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills with clients, vendors, and co-workers alike.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience with Sherweb or other CSP portals as well as the full Microsoft365 licensing portfolio will be a huge asset!
- Advanced organization & time management skills.
