We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Team Member - Picker. The position will be stationed at our 471 Intermodal Drive location in Brampton, ON. and is responsible for removing non-conforming materials from the sortation station ensuring materials conform to established quality specifications.
Additionally, the Picker is responsible for operating industrial forklifts, skid steers and other small equipment to load, unload and/or transport materials. This role supports production, processing, receiving, shipping and/or other operations while ensuring effective and efficient material movement.

- 6:45 AM – 6:45 PM (Rotating Continental Day Shift)
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
- Thoroughly inspects materials and picks (removes) non-conforming materials in accordance with operational policies and procedures in order to ensure that material conforms to established quality specifications
- Ensures the effective and efficient operation of the forklift, skid steer or bobcat equipment in accordance with operational policies and procedures in order to meet established receiving, shipping and production targets.
- Accurately records equipment deficiencies and submit associated documentation to ensure required maintenance is performed and forklift meets established operational and safety standards. (Pre-Operational Equipment Checklists {form})
- Performs general preventative maintenance on the forklift, bobcat or skid steer equipment; based on prescribed procedures to ensure equipment does not incur unexpected downtime
- 1 year of warehouse, distribution or machine operating experience
- Experience with operating equipment with fork lifts, skid steers and front-end loaders (preferred but not required)
