Job Overview:
As a Picker/Packer/Material Handler at our Indian restaurant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders, ingredients, and supplies are properly organized, packed, and delivered efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack food orders accurately for takeout, delivery, or catering services.
- Handle and store ingredients and restaurant supplies properly to ensure freshness and safety.
- Maintain an organized storage area, ensuring that items are easily accessible.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management.
- Work efficiently with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions from supervisors.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for portioning and packaging food items accurately.
- Punctual and responsible.
