As a Team Leader, Mechanical Maintenance at Irving Pulp and Paper, you will join a team of dedicated Operations and Maintenance professionals and contribute to the safe and reliable operation of our facility. In this role, you will work closely with planners, operators, and mechanical / E&I tradespersons to ensure the safe and efficient execution of mechanical jobs. You will be part of a cross functional area team, managing day to day schedules, break in work, and weekly schedules and targets. The team you lead will be responsible for execution of daily planned work, planned area / department shutdowns and periodic mill wide planned shutdowns. In addition, break in work will be managed and executed while maintaining overall ongoing priorities.

- Education Required: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technologist, or Journeyman Tradesperson or equivalent.
- Years of Experience Required: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in Maintenance or Reliability in heavy industry
- Safety Leadership knowledge & experience
- Supervisory experience in heavy industry setting
- Maintenance Experience
- CMMS Experience, ideally with JD Edwards/Oracle
