We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As an Express Department Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
