Swim/Aquatic Instructors – Markham Location

Do you love swimming and inspiring others to achieve their best? WD Swim is looking for energetic, caring, and dedicated Swim/Aquatic Instructors to join our Markham team! Whether you’re an experienced coach or just starting out, we’ll provide the support and training you need to succeed.
About the Role
As a Swim/Aquatic Instructor, you’ll create a positive, safe, and fun learning environment where swimmers of all ages can develop skills, build confidence, and discover a lifelong love for the water.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach small group swim lessons (maximum 4 students per class)
- Deliver engaging, inclusive, and safety-first aquatic programs
- Motivate and encourage swimmers at all levels
- Communicate clearly with students, parents, and team members
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for swimming, fitness, and working with all age groups
- Experience in swim instruction or aquatic programs (an asset, but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification (required)
- Aquafit Instructor certification is an asset
- Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- New instructors welcome – full training provided!
Availability
- Evenings (Monday–Friday) and/or weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
- Flexible scheduling to fit your availability
Hours
- Part-time: Up to 20 hours/week
- Full-time: 20+ hours/week
