WD Swim is on the lookout for enthusiastic and committed Swim/Aquatic Instructors to join our team in Richmond Hill. If you’re passionate about swimming and love working with people, we want to hear from you!
Position Overview
As a Swim/Aquatic Instructor, you’ll be responsible for delivering fun, safe, and effective swim programs for participants of all ages and abilities. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure a positive experience for every swimmer.
What You’ll Do
- Lead engaging swim lessons for small groups (up to 4 students per class)
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in and around the pool
- Communicate clearly and positively with swimmers, parents, and team members
- Help participants build confidence and improve their skills in the water
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for swimming, fitness, and helping others
- Previous experience teaching swim classes is a plus
- Strong communication and people skills
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification (required)
- Aquafit Instructor certification is an asset
- New instructors are welcome — full training is provided!
- Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- Availability for evening (Mon–Fri) and/or weekend (Sat–Sun) shifts
Scheduling & Hours
- Flexible schedule based on your availability
- Part-time: Up to 20 hours/week
- Full-time: 20+ hours/week
