Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation, including portion control and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of meals.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
- Adhere to health and safety standards within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Strong skills in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
