Job Summary
The Crew Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong background in construction management, with the ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience running crews and managing jobs from start to finish
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor work progress and quality control to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project management and documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide crew activities effectively.
- Assist in budgeting and construction estimating to ensure projects remain financially viable.
- Provide training and support to crew members on best practices in construction techniques and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to timelines.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising construction crews with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Strong skills in quality control, budgeting, blueprint reading, construction estimating, and schematics.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
