Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Subprime Automotive Finance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients who may have subprime credit. You will work closely with customers to assess their financial needs, help secure the best financing options, and ensure a smooth and positive car-buying experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to understand their financial situation and guide them through the financing process.
- Negotiate terms and rates with lenders to secure the best possible financing options for subprime customers.
- Provide transparent and clear communication with customers regarding loan terms, payments, and interest rates.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless vehicle sales transactions.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest financing products, promotions, and lending policies.
- Ensure that all customer interactions are handled with the highest level of professionalism, respect, and care.
- Provide exceptional customer service from the initial application process through to final vehicle delivery.
- Stay compliant with all dealership and financial regulations, including OMVIC guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and review of all loan and lease documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and to encourage repeat business.
Requirements:
- OMVIC License (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council)
- Proven experience in the automotive finance industry, preferably with subprime financing.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of automotive finance products and subprime credit solutions.
- A positive, solution-oriented attitude and a passion for helping others.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
