Sub-Contractor Installer – Experienced in Prefabricated Sunroom Installation (Newcastle to Belleville, Ontario)
Sunspace Belleville is looking for a skilled and reliable Sub-Contractor Installer to join our growing team! If you have hands-on experience in installing prefabricated sunrooms and related outdoor living products — and take pride in delivering top-quality work — we want to hear from you.

Job Overview:
As a Sub-Contractor Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of Sunspace products including windows, roofing systems, railings, modular sunrooms, and patio enclosures. You will also oversee job sites, support assistant installers, and ensure projects are completed with craftsmanship, care, and attention to detail.
This is a contractor position, ideal for someone with their own vehicle, trailer, and tools, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install windows, sunrooms, patio covers, railings, and roofing systems to Sunspace standards
- Lead on-site work and supervise assistant installers when required
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately
- Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and quality control
- Communicate with clients and team members professionally and efficiently
- Drive to job sites (some travel required)
Requirements:
- Proven experience installing prefabricated sunrooms and modular outdoor living structures
- 3–5 years of experience in construction or carpentry
- Skills in framing, caulking, deck builds, window & door installation, siding, and general finishing
- Experience with roofing and siding is a strong asset
- Knowledge of Sunspace products, modular rooms, railings, and patio covers is an asset
- Proficiency with power tools such as jig saws, circular saws, mitre saws, cordless drills, and standard hand tools
- Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 45 kg
- Valid Working at Heights certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Must have own vehicle and trailer
- Must be flexible with hours
Compensation:
Pay is Commission/Piecework based on each job – Competitive compensation offered.
