Job Summary:
As a Steward, your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our members and their guests. You will manage food and beverage orders, maintain the cleanliness of the club, and assist in the overall upkeep of our facilities, including the Squash Courts, Fitness Area, Hopwood Lounge, and upstairs areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Floor Manager or Lead Steward at the start of each shift.
- Greet members and guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
- Take food and beverage orders and ensure accurate billing using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the club, including tables, squash court areas, fitness areas, and locker rooms.
- Manage towel service, including operating laundry equipment.
- Replenish ice stations and ensure the bar area is neat and organized.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Licensed Premises regulations.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Floor Manager or Lead Steward.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $15.80-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
