Top Rail Stables is seeking a full-time staff member to fill a managerial role as our current amazing barn manager returns to school.
*Previous horse employment experience is required*
We are a busy lesson, showing, boarding & breeding farm located at 9328 15 Side Road Milton. Our farm of 30+ horses includes show horses, stallions, broodmares and foals. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, reliable and a team player. High quality horse care and safety is of upmost importance.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Daily turn in and turn out of horses (blanketing etc.)
- Mucking stalls, feeding and watering
- Grooming/tacking up show horses for training,
- General barn cleaning duties and laundry
- Handling foals, working with yearlings, helping with free jumping and exercising horses (lunging, pessoa etc)
- Assisting the vet and farrier
Reliable transportation and previous horse employment experience are required. Note that we do not offer live-in accommodations. Top Rail Stables is located in Milton, offers a positive work environment with a friendly team! We provide competitive pay and benefits. Please email [email protected].
