Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SQF Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our food safety and quality management systems. This position requires a strong background in quality assurance, quality control, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with SQF standards. The SQF Practitioner will be responsible for implementing quality inspection protocols, conducting data collection, and performing analyses to uphold the highest standards of product quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the SQF program in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Utilize analysis skills to interpret data collected from various quality control measures and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Train staff on quality management practices, including the proper use of calipers and other measurement tools for accurate quality assessments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, including inspection results and corrective actions taken.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to food safety and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes, including QA/QC methodologies.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, particularly SQF certification requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
- Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers for precise inspections.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
