Job Summary
Speak squad is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care setting, demonstrating a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatrics.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and enhance overall patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team: Occupational Therapists,ABA therapists and Psychotherapists .
- Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders and provide strategies for effective communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with medical standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in speech therapy practices and medical terminology relevant to the field.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of case management principles and practices related to speech therapy.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and effective communication.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
