iScope aims to be Canada's premier provider of Concussion Management services.
As such, we aim to seamlessly integrate physician and non-physician servcies to bring services to patients in need.
Given our specialization in Concussion management, many of our patients present with post-injury cognitive and oral motor deficits and changes. We are looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to assess post-head injury patients and establish treatment plans that will address associated deficits.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Your sessions will be both virtual and in-person as needed.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication abilities in patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders and treatment options.
- Provide case management support to coordinate care across various services.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Ontario Provincial licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred; pediatric experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of case management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Proficient in medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.

Pay: $61.90-$140.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
