Eligibility Requirements
- Canadian Citizenship (TN Visa is only available to Canadian citizens)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Canada
- Willing to relocate to North Dakota or surrounding U.S. regions
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Desire to work in the U.S. and open to obtaining any U.S. licensure requirements if needed
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Educate and counsel patients and families regarding communication and swallowing needs.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff development, and continuing education opportunities.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.
