We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our dynamic team. This position requires a blend of mechanical and electrical knowledge, as well as hands-on experience with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal solar panel placement.
- Perform electrical wiring and connections for solar systems.
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and bucket trucks safely and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools for installation tasks, ensuring all work meets safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to solar installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Proficient in electrical work, including low voltage systems.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
- Ability to dig trenches and perform rigging tasks as needed for installations.
- Familiarity with operating bucket trucks and backhoes safely.
- Competence in heavy equipment operation, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Proficient use of hand tools relevant to installation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
