Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate would be a student in marketing, able to work in conjunction with our marketing team, to help us through our busy golf and wedding season, with the possibility of continued part time work through the fall and winter seasons.
This position would be responsible for continuing to develop and implement our social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement. This position requires on site engagement ... you MUST be able to be on site, in order to capture the variety of events held at Rolling Green Fairways. Capturing and editing content, creating reels & stories, with a strong knowledge in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In and Tik Tok, as well as Canva.
Responsibilities:
-Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across social media platforms
-Attend the variety of events that are hosted at Rolling Green Fairways, including, but not limited to, tournaments, events, parties and weddings, with an emphasis on photographing said events and capturing content to be used in future branding and media efforts
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends and competitor activity
- Develop and implement social media campaigns to drive traffic and engagement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency
- Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Canva
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Experience in advertising and e-commerce is a plus
- Buff up your proofreading skills for accurate content

Pay: $18.00 per hour
