Position: Social Media Coordinator
Hours: Full Time
Rate: $44,000 CAD/year
(Rate to be negotiated after 1 year based on performance review)
Suneeva, a Toronto-based commercial film production company, is looking for a passionate individual with diverse experience to join our team as a Social Media Coordinator. Suneeva represents a roster of talented commercial directors in Canada. Suneeva is committed to diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
Duties:
-Develop and execute a content strategy across 4 production companies on multiple social media platforms (if we’re hiring someone under SAS?)
-Define target audiences, voice, and tone for each platform (Instagram, LinkedIn etc.)
-Plan, create, and edit engaging short-form video and photo content, alongside written copy that reflects brand identity
-Plan and manage timely and consistent content calendars around shoots, commercial releases, and director announcements
-Collaborate with sales team to align social media efforts with business goals
-Design visuals and motion graphics for posts
-Maintain brand aesthetic and tone across all platforms
-Track analytics and provide monthly reports with insights and suggestions (engagement, reach, follower growth, click-throughs, etc.).
-Pitch content ideas inspired by current shoots, commercial concepts, or cultural trends
-Stay up to date with visual trends in advertising and social media
Qualified candidates should have:
-Experience in social media management or digital content creation
-Strong skills in photography, video creation, and editing
-Strong writing, communication, and time management skills
-Experience working with multiple brands or accounts at once
-Critical thinking and creative solution skills
-Exceptional attention to detail
-Work in-person at our downtown Toronto office
-A recent graduate from a media or design program within the last 2 years
-Valid Ontario Full G or G2 driver’s license required
-Canadian PR or Canadian Citizenship required
