In this role, you’ll craft engaging content, manage our online presence, and help bring nature to the forefront of digital conversations. From curating compelling posts to analyzing performance and spotting trends, you'll play a vital role in growing our audience and amplifying our mission. Job Responsibilities

Curate, create and post social media content
- Curate content to align with the social media strategy, leveraging initiatives and content from internal and external sources, as well as social influencers and general public
- Work with internal stakeholders as well as external partners to develop content that’s aligned to the brand, organizational goals and objectives, and social media best practices
- Develop posts aligned with specifications for all social media platforms on which NCC has a presence, including but not limited to Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Threads and Tiktok.
- Schedule and post social media content, ensuring posts are deployed on time and according to plan
- Deploy paid boosts on select posts based on performance and goals.

Manage NCC’s online community
- Answer to comments and questions across all social media platforms on which NCC has a presence, including but not limited to Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Threads and Tiktok.
- Work with internal stakeholders such as conservation, communication, marketing and other internal teams to draft answers that are accurate and aligned with our brand voice
- Social Media KPI measurement and analytics, and supporting the creation of quarterly reports for stakeholders

Asset development and management
- Create digital assets such as graphics, infographics, quizzes, etc. for paid and organic social media posts, platforms, and digital marketing campaigns
- Produce videos for paid and organic social media and digital marketing campaigns
- Manage stock photography accounts
- Act as a subject matter expert on social media providing analytics-based advice to stakeholders, keeping up with trends, changes and innovation in social media and marketing
Position Requirements
- Relevant education in Marketing, New Media, Public Relations, or relevant field
- 2-3 years of experience and a proven track record in the field of social media
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms and listening tools
- Experience using social media management software (e.g. Brandwatch, Hootsuite, etc.)
- Experience in community management
- Analytical ability to track, measure and present insights and recommendations for optimization
- Understanding of social media KPIs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Oversee multiple projects at once while adhering to deadlines
- Client service orientation and collaborative attitude with ability to build online and offline relationships
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and digital marketing channels
- Graphic Design skills (Adobe Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Video and post-production skills (Premiere Pro)
- Excellent ability to develop, schedule and deploy social media content
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Excellent time management
- Bilingual (English/French)
