The Gig
We’re on the hunt for a Marketing & Social Media Manager who lives and breathes content. You know the type: the person who can’t walk past good lighting without pulling out their phone, who’s always two steps ahead of social media trends, and who can make even a boring behind-the-scenes clip into a scroll-stopper.
You’ll be running our socials, keeping our website fresh, and sliding into inboxes with newsletters that our clients actually want to open.
What You’ll Be Doing
Social Media Management
- Own our social channels (Instagram, TikTok (we haven't started yet), Facebook)
- Capture photos and videos that actually look good (no shaky-cam)
- Turn those into Reels, stories, and posts that people can’t help but double-tap
- Ride the algorithm waves and help our posts go viral
- Keep an eye on what’s working and what’s flopping — and adjust like a pro
Digital Marketing Stuff
- Give our WordPress site the occasional facelift (text updates, new photos of our recent work)
- Whip up newsletters that don’t scream “unsubscribe”
- Keep everything looking on-brand, fresh, and consistent
Who You Are
- You’ve run social media before and have the receipts (aka portfolio) to prove it
- You know how to shoot and edit content that doesn’t look like it was made in 2009
- You’re obsessed with trends but also know what will still look good in a year
- You can wrangle WordPress without breaking the internet
- You’ve dabbled in email marketing platforms (Mailchimp etc)
- You’re organized enough to juggle a calendar but creative enough to make it look effortless
Bonus Points If…
- You’ve worked with interior design, furniture, or lifestyle brands
- You’re handy with Canva or Adobe Suite
- SEO isn’t a scary acronym to you
The Fine Print
- Contract position, with the chance to stick around long-term if it’s a good fit
- Flexible hours (we care more about results than 9-to-5)
- The person in this role must be Toronto based
- Pay depends on experience, but we want this to feel worth your time
