CSS Office Solutions Inc. is hiring a Moving Supervisor – and we want YOU.
About the Role
As our Moving Supervisor, you’ll oversee and support the day-to-day execution of commercial moves – including the direct supervision of the crews, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all physical move activities, and being the calm, capable presence on every site.
You’ll work directly with our Crew Manager to ensure project success and bring leadership to both moving and installation crews as needed. This role involves far more than simply directing a move – it’s about stepping up, solving problems in real time, and delivering a service experience that reflects the CSS standard.
What You’ll Do
Lead, coach, and mentor moving teams for seamless on-site execution
Lead and guide a dedicated team of movers, drivers, and support staff
Execute move projects from start to finish – ensuring efficiency, care, and control
Train and mentor crew members in move prep, handling, and best practices
Support commercial projects and oversee furniture logistics as needed
Interpret floorplans, placement layouts, and client instructions
Load, unload, and stage commercial furniture with professionalism and purpose
Troubleshoot challenges and lead with a solutions-first mindset
Act as the on-site contact for clients and internal project stakeholders
Collaborate with project/sales team members, client contacts, and internal team members
Support cross-functional teams (moving, installation, and warehouse) as needed
What You Bring
7–10+ years of experience in commercial moves, relocations, or logistics
Crew leadership experience – with a proven ability to train, guide, and motivate others
Strong working knowledge of commercial furniture handling and systems
Ability to lift 50–75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Skilled in using hand/power tools, reading floorplans, and adapting on the fly
Class 5 (non-GDL) Driver’s License with clean abstract
Your own basic toolset
Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points)
Leadership or Supervisor Training
Technical Skills or Manufacturer-Specific Certification
Forklift or similar certifications
First Aid Certification
