The job is very straightforward and can be physically demanding with the requirement to lift and carry up to 80-100 lbs repetitively. Our trucks travel all across the province and into British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Traveling may be offered to you.
As a Furniture Mover, you will actively participate in all aspects of the moving process which will include,
- Padding and protecting the client's furniture.
- Packing the client's boxes.
- Disassembling and reassembling the client's furniture with basic hand tools.
- Furniture tagging and inventory list management.
- Loading / stacking items and furniture in the truck.
- Unloading of the truck and staging of the customer's home to their preference.
- Understanding our customer's requirements and execution of job duties and responsibilities above and beyond their expectations.
- Taking direction and guidance from your team leader.
- Utilizing our scheduling application (Jobber)
What We Offer:
- A starting wage of $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience in the moving industry
- A tip-friendly environment that will amount to an extra $2.00-4.00 an hour.
- Full benefits plan after 6 months.

- Advancement opportunity to a driver/team lead position which starts at $25.00/hr.
