Your Role
- Safely transport students to and from the University of Western Ontario to our company's rental complexes Masonville42s at 307 Fanshawe Park Rd E and Nova at 1140 Sunningdale Rd E with stops in between at Masonville Mall and the Stoney Creek YMCA
- Ensure the safety of passengers during boarding and exiting.
- Perform comprehensive pre- and post-trip inspections to confirm the vehicle is in excellent operating condition.
- Assist with fueling and maintaining the cleanliness of the bus to ensure reliability and comfort.
- Take part in ongoing training and skill development opportunities.
RequirementsYour Profile
- Safety-first mindset: You stay alert, make sound decisions, and put safety above all else.
- Driver’s licence: *MUST HAVE F CLASS LICENSE!*
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Clean record: A safe driving history is a must.
- Background check: Ability to pass both a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Communication skills: Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B1 to C2 level).
- Local knowledge: Familiarity with the London area is highly valued.
- Team environment: Comfortable working within a unionized setting.
- Independence: You’re reliable, responsible, and able to work without constant supervision.
- Vehicle comfort: Confident operating various vehicle sizes, from mini-vans to wheelchair-accessible buses.
- Flexibility: Able to work split shifts Monday to Friday, typically 7:00 AM – 2:00PM and 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM (hours may vary slightly)
