- Simple Staffing is hiring for this position on behalf of Stock Transportation *
- Operate a school bus safely and efficiently while following pre-established routes.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit and assist students in boarding and disembarking the bus.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Maintain clear communication with school personnel and parents regarding student pick-up and drop-off schedules.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
- Administer first aid to students if necessary and communicate any health-related issues to school authorities.
- Keep the bus clean and well maintained, reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for driving a school bus.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably with passenger transportation.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Ability to manage student behavior and ensure a safe environment on the bus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug testing as required.
- Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts, depending on school schedules.
