Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative input based on seasonal ingredients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and cuisines.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to create delicious meals for guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
