Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Electrical Shop Supervisor & Tester to lead our electrical assembly team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing electrical wiremen and shop operations, along with a deep understanding of electrical panel building, MCPs, and VFDs. This position requires a detail-oriented leader who leads by example, ensures all equipment is fully tested prior to shipment, and maintains a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations in the electrical assembly shop.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to electrical wiremen and junior employees.
- Build and oversee the assembly of custom electrical panels, including MCPs and VFD cabinets.
- Perform final testing of all equipment to ensure proper operation and quality before shipment to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; enforce use of PPE and safety protocols.
- Ensure all necessary tools, components, and hardware are readily available to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering department to interpret schematics and resolve technical issues.
- Train new and junior employees on safe tool usage, proper wiring techniques, and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an electrical assembly environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with electrical panel building, MCPs, and VFDs.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
