As a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the Technicians.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up and operation of triage and the quality control system.
Provides technical advice to service customers and technicians.
Reviews apprentices’ skills and abilities and recommends additional and ongoing training accordingly.
Diagnoses and performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership, factory and warranty policies and procedures.
Discusses any problems related to the repair with service management.
Performs other duties as required by the Service Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in the service department.
Volkswagen Experience is preferred
Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent.
310S Automotive service technician trade certification.
Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract.
