Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Shop Coaters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in industrial painting and a strong understanding of various manufacturing processes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Wage is negotiable depending upon experience.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Ability to operate and maintain industrial spray equipment
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in the operation of forklifts and cranes for material handling when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial or construction painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for handling materials efficiently.
- NACE certification is desired
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
