Position Overview
The Shipper will be responsible for preparing, organizing, and transporting shipments, including making weekly trips across the U.S. border. This role requires strong organizational skills, shipping/warehouse experience, and the ability to manage cross-border logistics effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process domestic and international shipments.
- Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for all outgoing orders.
- Drive across the U.S. border at least once weekly to complete shipments.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including inventory control and organization.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate logistics.
- Ensure compliance with customs and border requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Valid Passport with ability to travel into the U.S. (must be eligible for cross-border travel).
- 3–5 years of shipping and warehouse experience.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and customs requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification an asset).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
