Seeking a sheet metal apprentice to join our team. Lots of room for learning and growth. 2 years of Construction Experience required.
Must be comfortable working at heights (or have the willingness to become comfortable).
Must be willing to learn the trade and work with other people effectively.
You will be required to work with sheet metal snips and folders, fabricating and installing flashings under the guidance of a Foreman/journeyman.
Some days you will be working in a sheet metal shop with a slitter/brake, and some days you will be on a roof with a harness and safety equipment. Work varies to a large degree encompassing most aspects of architectural sheet metal.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of sheet metal roofing and siding by handling materials and tools.
- Support skilled workers by carrying heavy materials and maintaining a clean work environment.
- follow instructions to ensure accurate installation.
- Utilize hand tools safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Gain hands-on experience in construction
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
